I wrote a little, sci-fi comedy web series called SOLO. The concept, and the scripts, attracted a talented cast of professional actors and a dedicated, hard working production team. I am excited to be working with such creative people.
Over an extended weekend we filmed our first two episodes. The footage looks awesome – far better than the bulk of web series currently streaming online today. These two episodes will serve as our pilot, which we will present to the several online distributors who have expressed a great deal of interest in our little comedy. And we will share these episodes with you, our beloved audience, too.
We have set our production standards high. Our production team and the actors need to be fed. We would like to pay them for their work, too. Filming a web series of this quality needs quality equipment, which costs real money. I have personally funded the first two episodes out of my own pocket, but I simply cannot handle the extended cost of production alone. I could only ask my team to work for lunch and a well-stocked crafty table for one or two episodes, at most. We need the assistance of the potential viewers, like you, to help us achieve our goal.
