Jonathan NailJonathan originally hails from the cornfields of Illinois and holds a B.F.A. in Acting from the University of Illinois. During the summer of 1993, he studied under Academy Award winner Sir Ben Kingsley at the prestigious British American Drama Academy (BADA) in Oxford, England. Jonathan has appeared on AMC’s MAD MEN, HBO’s Carnivà le, Criminal Minds, ER and Malcolm in the Middle. A man of many talents, Jonathan is also an avid home brewer and won a Gold Medal (English Ale category) at the America’s Finest City Homebrew Competition in San Diego. Jason BurnsJason Burns is a Los Angeles actor, writer, and radio personality. He is heard on over 330 stations in international syndication as the voice of the John Tesh Radio Show. He also co-hosts LAGenX – Talk Radio From the World’s Biggest Stage.
From a career in radio broadcasting than began in 1996, Jason has earned recognition by the Indiana Broadcasters Association. He is a recipient of the Communicator Award, honoring creative excellence for Communications Professionals.
Jason is a student of the world-renowned Howard Fine Acting Studio in Hollywood, and the Florida State University School of Theatre.
He writes about life in Los Angeles for Fade In: L.A., and he is a contributor author for Los Angeles Metblogs.
Michele BoydBorn in Gainesville, Florida, Michele was constantly moving both internationally and within the USA due to her father’s Navy career. She maintains that her love of acting originated from all the re-inventing of herself she got to do every three years!
Michele has always been very athletic as well, swimming competitively for ten years and receiving the MVP award her senior year of high school with her varsity swim team. Eschewing the usual career path of most actors, Michele earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. Besides academia, Michele became an avid snowboarder and active in Hapkido, a street-style martial art that blends Aikido and Tae Kwon Do.

Jay CaputoJay comes from the high-pressure arena of competitive gymnastics. As a world-class athlete, he was chosen for the 1992 Olympic Gymnastic Trials. He was a six-time National Team Member, a four-time All-American, a Big Ten Champion and a nominee for the prestigious Nissan Award.
In 1992, Jay began to focus this same drive and determination on a career in film & TV. Today, he has contributed to more than one hundred and thirty film and television productions including: two Pirates of the Carribean, The Green Hornet, National Treasure, Land of the Lost, the first two Austin Powers, Batman & Robin, Instinct, Ed, Congo, Three Kings, Bowfinger, Forrest Gump, Planet Of The Apes, Land of the Lost, X-Files, Nash Bridges and Eleventh Hour.
Jay spent 5 seasons with NBC and its ride on the reality niche. Beginning with Fear Factor (Co-Stunt Coordinator). He then became an integral part of the reality show Dog Eat Dog as Coordinating Producer.
Jay practices yoga daily and teaches when requested. In 2008 he spent part of the year studying with BKS Iyengar at his institute in Pune, India. Jay is also an avid supporter of Big Brothers.
Amol ShahAmol is a native of New Jersey. He studied under Sonia Moore at the American Stanislavski Theatre and is a classically trained singer. TV credits include: Grey’s Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Chocolate News. Amol has acted in several independent films, including Quantum Apocalypse and SEAL Team VI, as well as numerous commercial campaigns for DiGiorno pizza, Microsoft, Home Depot, and Nickelodeon. Stage credits span New York, Los Angeles, and regional theatre: Theatre @ Boston Court, La MaMa etc., HERE Arts Center, Contemporary American Theater Festival, and the Village Theatre. Amol holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.
Melissa DaltonMelissa is a native of Minneapolis and a received her B.A in Theatre and Speech Communication from St. Cloud State University. While living in the twin cities she performed in several stage productions and co-founded the theatre company In the Basement Productions.
Since her move to the west coast she has worked in theatre, national commercials, voice over, independent film and the popular webisode Lily did it.
Recently she completed a Shakespeare summer intensive program in the beautiful Topanga Canyons, and is continuing to study improv and voice technique.
She would like to thank Jonathan for this wonderful opportunity, and for the dozens of cupcakes that will be provided as part of the rider on her SAG contract. Â She plans on sharing them with her incredibly adorable niece, Gillian.
Tohoru MasamuneTohoru Masamune was born in Madison, WI, After spending his childhood in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, his family settled in New England, just outside of Boston. He studied theatre in London and San Francisco and went on to star in lead roles on stage directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman (Silk at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago) and Tony award winner Dan Sullivan (Far East at the Williamstown Theatre Festival). He has been in original casts of productions written by A.R. Gurney and Tony Award nominee Irene Mecchi. He toured nationally with Theatre of Yugen, a classical Japanese theatre troupe. He appears in the opening scenes of Inception saying the first lines of the movie opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Ken Watanabe. He also has lead roles on the Syfy channel movie Warbirds and in the upcoming feature film Baby O directed by Charlie Matthau. He will also appear in the upcoming Icarus Project written by Nutopia Kim and Michael Taylor (Battlestar Galactica, Caprica) Other recent TV/Film credits include The Event, No Ordinary Family, iCarly, 24, Heroes (recurring as Mr. Egami) and Without a Trace. Jade CarterBecause four feet of snow just wasn’t cold enough, Jade thought playing a lot of hockey while growing up in Canada would be a good idea. Kimberly AtkinsonKimberly is originally from South Carolina, but has lived in both Seattle and LA over the last 10 years. Television credits include: True Blood, NCIS, Las Vegas, Cane, Brothers & Sisters, The OC. She recently starred in Scream of the Bikini (Best Comedy-ThrillSpy Intl. Film Fest). Other film adventures include 57 Sunny Days (Official Selection- LA Film Fest), and Wild Things II (Yep.) Hidekun HahHidekun Hah was born in Tokyo, Japan of half Japanese and Korean descent. He studied acting at the University of Illinois, and acclaimed instructors Janet Alhanti, Iris Klein and Lauren Patrice Nadler. Throughout his childhood, he was in constant trouble with the law and authorities. His childhood was marked by constant moving and family strife. Hidekun has acted in numerous TV shows (Nip/Tuck, Dark Blue, iCarly), features (Fighter), and commercials (INTEL, Microsoft Bing). Allison VanoreAllison Vanore is an independent film producer. She has a BFA in Media Arts from the University of Arizona. From 2004 to 2008, Allison served as the Director of Creative Operations for interactive design firm, Georgopoulos Design Environments, where she oversaw DVD, Blu-ray, and website design as well as video production projects for clients such as Disney, Sony, and Yahoo! Most notable is her work on the Tarzan II DVD which won a Best Direct to Video DVD Award and award winning Yellowtail banner campaign in 2007. In 2008 she produced three award winning short films, Love Sick Love, Rooftop, and Junkyard. Allison is currently producing a feature romantic comedy, Hopelessly in June and a PSA on Anti-Bullying among other projects.
Raphe WolfgangRaphe Wolfgang is a Los Angeles based filmmaker originally from Chandler, Arizona. After earning a BFA in Media Arts and Film Production at The University of Arizona, Raphe moved to Los Angeles where he has been pursuing the creative arts from every angle. Much of his artistic vision stems from his firm roots with photography and the power of the image. In addition to working as a Director of Photography Raphe has ventured into directing. He has recently directed a PSA to benefit the banning of plastic bags called Plastic Is Forever, as well as a music video for the band Fire in the Hamptons. PJ GaynardPJ Gaynard is a Los Angeles based filmmaker. He has a BFA in film/video/animation from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the president and director of Goat Milk Fudge Productions. PJ has spent the last 15 years working in a variety of positions on films and videos in Rochester NY, Boston MA, New York City, Pittsburgh PA, and Los Angeles CA. In 2008 he directed and produced two short films, Rooftop and Love Sick Love. PJ’s latest venture behind the lens was for the upcoming sci-fi web series The Mercury Men which is gonna blow us all out of the water! Other web work includes “Trading on 15” and The Web Files.
Rob GokeeRob studied under seasoned composer Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3 , The Grudge , Ghost Rider), where he sharpened his orchestration, mixing, and marketing skills. Rob has had formal training in classical guitar, and has been playing electric and acoustic guitar for over a decade. He is also proficient in piano, and uses these capabilities in his scoring process.
Rob’s first full year of business in 2006 yielded 16 short films, including additional music that appeared in the nationally syndicated PBS show Roadtrip Nation. Rob capped off the year with an award for Best Short Film in the Destricted Competition on Shootingpeople.com in November for the short film “Footsie.”
In 2007, he scored 3 Down, screened at both the Phoenix Film Festival and the Women’s International Film Festival ,and Bag for the 168 Hour Film Festival, which took home the prize for Best Comedy. Rob’s score for the period film Until Next Time won him a Silver Medal of Excellence at the 2008 Park City Music Festival, as well as a Best in the Fest award at the 2007 IndieFest Festival in Anaheim, CA.
In 2008, Rob put the finishing touches on his scores for the horror feature Eyes of the Woods, comedy Outrighteous, and the Lifeline Entertainment thriller Amhurst with director Rocky Costanzo, which was also released as a soundtrack on iTunes. Along with SOLO the Series, Rob’s latest projects include the features K-Town & 11:11, and the short films Ties That Bind & Thank You Mr. Patterson.
Laurie RecordsLaurie Records (Casting Director, CCDA) got her start in the commercial realm in 2004.  For three years she cast hundreds of commercials as Associate Casting Director in a bustling commercial office.  In 2009, Laurie opened her own company.  While she continues casting all types commercials ranging from National Network to internet only spots, she has broadened her horizons to include a wide variety of theatrical jobs including: additional web content for Network Television, television hosts, various web series (SOLO will always hold a special place in her heart), industrial/instructional videos, and dabbles in casting features and short films to shake things up a bit.   Laurie writes a monthly column titled “Commercial Actors Should Never…†for Casting Networks, Inc.
Frank MohlerFrank Mohler is a Los Angeles based video editor. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Theatre, but has been making movies for over 10 years. He currently works freelance; cutting trailers, short films, and DVD special features. His most recent work includes the award winning short film, Rooftop, as well as the DVD bonus features for Transformers and GI Joe, the original animated series, and It’s Garry Shandling’s Show. He is excited to be working with the excellent team on SOLO – The Series, and hopes to have multiple projects making the festival rounds this year.
Jesse AvernaA filmmaker, and above all else a storyteller, Jesse Averna’s work spans from big budget features, experimental music videos, high-end live action productions, to shoe string budget documentaries. Among many other clients, he has worked with Disney, Warner Bros, ESPN, MTV, the Tony Awards, American Movie Classics, TIME.com, PBS The News Hour, New York Fashion Week, Music Choice, as well as international nonprofits. His growing reputation has taken him around the world for various projects and has afforded him the opportunity to work directly under high profile Emmy and Academy Award winning filmmakers. He also had the privilege of collaborating with Disney, Jim Henson, SAG, and Stella Adler professionals under his direction for various short films. Jesse is currently working under A.C.E. Editor Jeffery Wolf on Director Brad Anderson’s new feature, Vanishing On 7th Street. He holds a B.A. in Film from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
